Re: xx and xxx?
From what I remember the XXCR - 1st gen XXX share rear wishbones, hubs, & centre anti-squat plate Also driveshafts, shock absorbers, gearbox internals inc' diff & slipper assembly. Wheels are interchangeable... but the XXX had the 'body-pin' wing mount. I'm not sure about the later XXX versions (BK1/BK2 & CR) as I have no experience of these.bearrickster wrote:the wheels and tires and wing mounts. not much it was a total redesign.
Geometry-wise if you line an early XXX with a Double X CR they are pretty much identical - just the location of the front shocks on the later car seems to make it more prone to understeer (IMO

Re: xx and xxx?
The whole rear end fits on xx.
Kinwald was testing the new Triple X rear end on the XX chassis.
My mate and i did it too.
Can't remember what we did but was simple enough.

Has anyone replaced the bushings in the transmission with bearings? Is this possible?I'm not a big fan of bushings,I don't even know why they offer them as an option.Pay 10-20 bux more for the bearing model.HMMM? Bearings please.

Re: xx and xxx?
if you know the bearing sizes (standard Losi sizes I am sure), use avidbearings.com $1 each, I get all my bearings from there.

Boca has a whole kit for about 17bux. I don't think that is too bad of a price.
