Saving a XXX-T MF-1

Post by lilpanther »

This is the second car I bought from my cousin the other day to save and restore. Its a Losi XXX-T MF-1. It has 5 out of the 6 Lunsford turnbuckles on it still, Not sure what happened to the other one. I have wanted one of these for the last few years so when I got the chance I snagged this one to toy with. Here are some pics of this one too.

Losi threaded shocks need to be step one. That's sacrilegious to have Associated shocks on an MF1

I'm working on that. Those shocks go to the RC10 GT I bought from him, But the guy he got it from swapped the parts around. For $10 each I can't complain.

$10 earns a pass. From me.

Some wouldn't allow that for free. LOL

Anyway, nice find. Curious how this turns out. The MF1 has always been a nice truck. I know a guy who still races his and is competitive.

Glad it has your approval.

I probably shouldn't have dove into this, But it is a truck that I always wanted. And when I want something I am going to build it.

I probably won't race it because the local track wants too much to race, But I will take it out there and run it around there for fun. It will probably get my spare Castle 4600kv motor I have sitting on the shelf.
