Is it sacralige to race a RPM worlds Car?

Post by jtwhite312 »

I just scored a RPM worlds car in good condition with a few scratches. Overall the car is a 8-9 out of 10. I am in the process of two separate projects one a klein arm tub car and a custom trailing arm /GT2 dual deck car. I am guessing that i could sell the RPM car and finance my racing for the next few months but i think i may just race it. The rear width is a little narrow but i think i could still be competitive with it. how will the RC gods treat me if i break this car? How rare is it reallypics to follow once i get back home.

Do you mean a modded Tub car, a Composite craft chassied RPM worlds 91 car, or a Ultramoulded RPM car?

Fairly rare in good condition- I personally would not race it

And the rear of the chassis where the arm mounts attach are a little thin and prone to pull throughs-

Ive only got 80 into the entire purchase of the car and a bunch of other great items so i dont have a huge amo9nt invested in it. I scored everything from a super old hobby shop i found out in the middle of nowhere. The best items ar ein the pics.

That chassis may clean up well- only one way to tell :P and while not worth a ton, those Flouro noses seem like they are unused-I would keep them like that

Did any of you guys race one of these chassis back in the day? I was just wondering how well they worked. I never saw any of these at the local tracks, but thought it looked like it might work well. Never got a chance to try it out though. Wish I had one today for sure.
