I am using the second definition. It is a claim, rights. Thanks.

I think you missed to point. Either of the 2 definitions constitute selling. Drop some pix in the b/s/t area and I'm sure the guys there will help you out or there is always ebay to get the most food on your table  Good luck with the supper table and moving.

Well, if there is no money involved I will lay claim to any Tamiya products you have. I can send my address once you have them all boxed for me.

Klavy69, thank you for the excellent advise. I think I will do just that when the time is right.

Look here: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/dibs

The example they use is "I get dibs on the front seat". Usually when someone claims "shotgun" for the front seat...they are claiming it....money is usually not involved or at least that was my intent.

If anyone has a link to a picture of someone whipping a dead horse, this would be the time and place to post it.......

I'm feeling this is more appropriate:

Civilguy has dibs on shotgunning the soup, but I laid a counter claim in Argie court for rights to the soup funnel, so I now control the rate of soup decention heretowith.
