never fails. Have any of you seen the rare Jackemoff version of the rc10? I doubt that any one has listed one of those on ebay in years

OK so today i won another b3 on ebay. I figured i'd have another one around to bash and stuff. I won and payed for it. 75$ with shipping. I figured i got a good deal.

At closer inspection of the vehicle i think it may be a b2, but i need your inspection, since i'm the noob of the forum.

These are the pictures from ebay, i didn't recieve it yet, but its paid for.

I am using this picture as reference:
Image

Image
As you can see the front has the b2 steering block, although they're in white (are they associated or aftermarket?)
Also, the shock tower has 2 holes instead of 3.

Image
b2 hubs.

Image
From here you can see those are definitely b3 front arms (pivot balls).

I'm pretty certain it's a b2 but i feel your opinion would be more significant.

If it is...WOOT!

Just need a couple of b2 front arms and a new b2 body to paint and i'm good to go. It comes with a body but i like mono-colored paint schemes...i'm thinking orange.

it's probably a b2 that has some b3 parts. really, the main differences are the arms and corresponding hub carriers(f and r), so any other parts on the car would 'work' the same between b2 and b3, unless you REALLY want to build a 'real' B2.

if so, you need the right front arms, upper brace, it does look like you are OK in the rear, and then inspection of the slipper clutch will tell you if you need the b2 parts, or if you already have them. I believe the B2 parts are the same as the original stealth.

Well, looks like I have at least ONE B2 then..... http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=68683&sid=154
... just have to find the other two that I have in parts and see which models they are!

I was actually planning on working on my B2 / B3 pile before ithis thread came up.... so I guess I'll start all that tonight!

Will be watching this thread....

Id say B2 because it looks to have the narrow trans plate/motor mount also.

Seems to be a good mix of B2 and B3 parts.... some B3 with B2 top plates, and vice versa..... might have to do some spannering this weekend! Hydradrive looks weird in there, though
