I used to run Tamiya M-Chassis' with the teu esc. I used it with a spektrum receiver, and no alarm. If you are racing, you don't really need an alarm. You're only running the car for 5 or 6 minutes at a time... that leaves more than enough volts in the battery before you recharge.
If you are going to use it for 'bashing', running in a parking lot etc, then an alarm is a good idea. It's easy to lose track of time, and over run your battery.
I need to get 8s power and there are two connectors attached to the ESC.
I have 4 x 2s batteries so I'm thinking that I can make two adapter cables as shown below.
Could someone please confirm that I am wiring this...
