rear bulkhead differences?
i got a andy's rear bulkhead a while back here from a trade and i am trying to mount it in a "stock" chassis with my normal stealth tranny, and the tranny brace does not wanna fit, it just WAYY to tight and if i snug it tight, it actually pullls the bulkhead back to far.
Im assuming its by design and andy's just used a different mounting or brace for their chassis's etc.
anyway, just wanted to get some input and maybe this part is for the b/s/t section but does anyone have any other rear bulkheads for sale? i would like to find just a black "plain" bulkhead, but tower is out till late jul, if anyone has a RPM black or whatever let me know
thanks!

well honestly the tower bulkhead is like 4 bucks or something, i would trade it even for a RPM black bulkhead (or clean white), just must be in "new" condition, the andy's bulkhead is really in great/new condition without a scratch on it.
im looking for a ton of things right now, there is a thread i have in the BST forums with a list of stuff im looking for.

i'm guessing that's the bulkhead you got from me? i don't know why there'd be a problem.
this may be a dumb question, but is the trans brace for a stealth, or is it for a 6 gear with 2 holes added to the back? that's the only reason i could see it not fitting.
if jay can't come up with an rpm bulkhead for ya, i'll send you one (nip) to get the andy's bulkhead back. no problem.

yes same one.
i am using 2 braces, a graphite stealth brace that associated made for a while and a aluminum one, and the holes match perfectly to a stock "6 hole" brace for the steath tranny.
its just a strange fit, its like i need to shave some plastic off the front of the stealth tranny case to get a snug fit when i mount everything, im going to play with it some more tonight and see what the deal is.

actually i just mounted it up, and the brace is not the right one, the holes are literally 1mm too short, this pictures of the brace can be found here in this thread
http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?t=2106&highlight=
i have NO idea why it doesnt fit, but when i used a standard graphite brace, it mounted fine with the extra 1mm to spare, i thought i was going crazy.
Anyway, im in the market for a new brace now, aluminum or graphite, does fibre-lyte still like sell parts and such and will they ship to the US?
