vintage Novak receivers
Hey everyone
I'm working on a Gulf Racing schemed RC10L and wanted to put modern Novak electronics in it (brushless & Lipo), BUT I was thinking an orange receiver would look sweet. Is there any difference in a vintage FM receiver and a modern one? If not, anyone recommend a particular Novak receiver?

Re: vintage Novak receivers
As I understand, if the Mhz is the same and ( specifically on the old "tuned" stuff ) you are close
enough to the original frequency then you are good to go- But if you just want orange, then I have 2-3 Novak Synthisized receivers that you can have.

it's a good colour scheme, which car/buggy/truck are you planning on putting it on?flipwils11 wrote:Damn, gulf oil theme colors, i had that idea too! But I have too many projects underway...
I got mine on a 10L, but think it would be cool on a buggy
