Hi-cap dampers.

Post by 8rad »

Hi,

I am nearing the end of my Egress build and I need some plastic bits for my Hi-caps. Does anyone know if this will work?

Cheers

I am beginning to understand why the Egress sells for so much. Parts are IMPOSSIBLE to find!

The hunt continues!

Cool. Thanks.

Should be all sorted now. Got my steering, got my shock parts. Now I just need those darn BF9's and some decals.

Good ideas. I am not going for original so I am open to using different parts.

I may have a line on some BF9's and if it pans out I will share my source.

Still considering just making a pair but it seem a lot of work to get it right. There is not a lot of room to work in that front end.

Does anyone know which damper seals will work on the Egress Hi-Caps?

It OK. I think my seals are fine. I noticed that two of the caps have air holes at the top and the other two dont. I had one of each on my front shocks so one was stiffer than the other. I though it was a shaft/seal problem but it should be OK now thanks.
