Really :0, it's not the same car Masami raced at that track a couple of months before the event when testing for the worlds in 91'. I found the article on the car he was using in early 91 I'll have to scan it

Somewhere in our club archive of amatuer video, there was footage of Masami driving in a demonstration session. He drove the track in reverse and drove the car using his feet on the two-stick radio he always used. I wonder if there is any chance of finding that or ever a VCR to play it on for tha matter.

If I remember correctly, one of the Gene Husting RC Racing DVDS has that footage.
Wow...I remember this car. I saw it in car action and tried to imulate all I could with the parts that were avaliable at the pro shop at my track. I remember buying the grapite stearing systems for both my RC10 cars and moving all my electrics to the same location as his. Those were some great times and thanks for the memories....
I was looking at ruffys thread about the prototype cars and thought I'd ask my question over here. Were the arms and everything on the cars machined? looking closely, especially on the detroit car, they look molded, you can see what look like parting lines and such? if so how many cars/parts were actually produced?
