Losi LX-T's and JRX Pro SE
Thought I'd post some new additions to my collection...
Losi LX-T 'XX Trans Edition' I think this is going to stay as shelf queen its just too clean to race.
Another LX-T... bought for spares, I was pleased that it has the XX trans and the hydra drive
Losi JRX Pro SE, bought mainly for the RPM chassis brace/plate and front bulkhead (which I'll use on LX-T racer)
Needs.. A quick strip down and cleanup (diff feels very smooth) new front wheels, swap rear tyres for period Pro-Lines, new body and wing, odd screws etc, fit orig top plate and bulkhead, then not sure whats happening with it, I'll either do up as shelf queen or a friend is after it as his Pro SE has a busted chassis.
I may struggle with the original JRX wing buttons, those are quite hard to find so the aluminum ones will prob have to stay on (I'll de-anodize and polish them) The rear wheels on the car are brand new so I've sourced a new set of fluorescent yellow front wheels to match. Tires well the originals will be impossible to find I'm sure so seeing as it has the Pro-Line Wide Fives up front I'll just fit some Pro-Lines that I have on the rear. Or maybe I'll find some suitable Losi's we'll see
Got lucky finding some LX-T body sets too...

The XX retrofit (car) is the same as the XX buggy trans....2.19. The XX retrofit (truck) is 2.61.DerbyDan wrote:Niiiice!! especially the first LXT - very minty looking!

Re: Losi LX-T's and JRX Pro SE
Ha ha - i've been eyeing up the hydradrive equipped LRM gearbox that you have for sale in the BST section - I presume it is from one of 'those' LXTs that you had brought & wondered if the box would be good to use in a buggy?YZ-10 wrote:Hi Dan, the LRM on the LX-T is 2.18:1

Re: Losi LX-T's and JRX Pro SE
2.18:1 across all models I think, yea I bought two from ebay but I found once arrived one had chassis broken in 2 places and the other was a different truck to photos and had a Junior 2/T chassis and non original wheels. Buying a new chassis off Rick now and will be building my race truck up from that.DerbyDan wrote:Ha ha - i've been eyeing up the hydradrive equipped LRM gearbox that you have for sale in the BST section - I presume it is from one of 'those' LXTs that you had brought & wondered if the box would be good to use in a buggy?
