I did have a bit of reluctantcy (if that is a word) in letting that go, but I knew you would appreciate it more that I and you would do it justice. I like it.

You have to appreciate the types of paint jobs that Doug turns out, but what I really like about yours is the black front...... that is something you would really see on the track from your 1:1 low budget racer. I (personally) think it really makes it! I go for realism more so than anything else, but still can also appreciate a graphical appealing paint job.
i love those old aj's with the goodyear logo's. i used to run those on the front of my team car, with trc green/yellow foams on the back. and a little gojo, too.
No reluctancy at all, Jay... Gary pulled one for me recently, and an original Mustang Wedge, as well. Brand spankin' new, and with his current body pricing, too. That Corvette Wedge is one of my all-time favs.
I have one ready to go on a project as soon as the mess here starts to settle down a bit.
OK, so I have been searching the internet high and low for pictures of vintage dirt oval wedge bodies from the late 80's to early 90's timeframe. One design in particular I am trying to find. Unfortunately my father threw away my painted one from...

It had the small cockpit on the left and lines running the length of the body from the rear of the cockpit to the Gurney flap area. I am 100% sure the one I was looking for is that Viper body. No idea who originally made it but I have one on the way...
I posted a request in the scan section, but thought I would ask here as well.
I am looking for a link or scan of the ZR-1 electric version.
Not much came up on google, so I thought I would try here.
Looks very similar to the Outlaw, so I might be...
So After getting a nice rc500 i find myself joining the long line of people with fatter wallets than Me, looking for a nice body.
And as bondo is no short supply i decided to make my own body .

First, a little background.
I’ll have to admit that I’ve never been a huge fan of on-road RC.
Although, back in the day I've raced a 12e, 12i, 10l (which I still have) and some custom-built pan cars on carpet and tarmac, dirt off-road is really my...

Me to. I've always like vettes in general. I drove a vette bitd, an '88, had it for 15 years, great car. Quick. Not sure of it's ultimate capabilities as I never had it over 150.
So the body shell arrived today and it's from a Bolink mold. How about...
I know it's not vintage, but I love it, so I had to post to share my excitement. The proportions on the FW06 are much better than it's big brother. Me REALLY likey! I would love to see it go head to head with the FW06 Aston just like at Le Mans....

That R&S sounds sweet, but the tranny whine kind of drowns the motor out. Straight cut gears are pretty cool too though
Like I really need to start another project. Anyway this will be an RC12E with the Greenwood Corvette body from TBG. This will have period correct electronics and it will be fully functional like all my cars so far. It will be a resistor...
every year i talk myself a little more into swapping out the ws6 in the garage for a c5 z06.
I didn't notice this comment earlier, but I would tell you to do it. The WS6 is a very sweet car, but the C5 Z06 in a completely different league. There...
