Hey I'm in the UK, unless you can afford a big house we don't have space for hobby rooms, Tom's using his kitchen worktop. Standard UK garage size, I'm not helped in my case by having to find somewhere to store a lot of power tools. I won't show you inside the cupboards, makes Hooptys stacking seem like a a sensible option. I have ADD so very few projects get finished so they end up just piled up everywhere when I move on to something else. The custom built drift car on the bench has been an on and off project for 3 years now. The Hotshot chassis kit still needs productionising since I built the prototype last summer.

Thought I'd just go take some shots as I hate just seeing these threads that are just filled with very smart rooms so no one posts anything like this.

This must be the hobby for anyone suffering from ADD-AD/HD. By the looks of all of our shops, and all of our short attention spans, I'm pretty sure that most of us suffer from it.

Yes, it's an Attack R, a 40mhz FM version and I still use it. I only race once every few months now as my r/c club is too busy for me to race and run it at the same time. This means when I get my high end radio out the battery is usually flat so I just pull out the Attack R.

I have a box full of 27mhz Attack Rs, they seem to be the standard radio that comes with complete cars from ebay.

I guess I am the oddball with the organized workstation, I hate clutter.
My spares are organized in labeled matching(for the most part) clear plastic shoeboxes and tackleboxes.
I used to have the whole basement, but as you can see I have lost considerable ground to the little ones.

In addition to RC I also collect VW toys. The large self-torture machine doubles as an obstacle on our TLT-1 track, and is blocking view of my only rc-10.

That train is great for a crying baby!
I could put my son in the middle of an 8 foot oval in his swing and he would sit and watch the train quietly for what seemed like hours. I would only leave him there for 30 minutes or so, but it ws such a peaceful time.
Once he started to crawl the train got put away as he kept crawling to the track trying to chew on the moving locomotive.

Tanner the pooping dog! Barbie's dog that eats little brown magnet pellets and excretes them later. What a wacky toy.

(the kids have tanner, but the food pellets are now in a landfill)

I wish I had a dedicated hobby room and so does the misses. The first shot is the dinning room table where I put them together needless to say we don't do much eating in there at the moment it's a bit messier than normal as I'm not really progressing any projects at the moment and it's become a bit of a dumping ground while we decorate some of the other areas of the house. The other three shots show the loft where I keep them when I’m not working on them.

Mark, I know what you mean about the missus being unhappy about using the other rooms of the house!!

If we have friends round I have to clear everything from my work area in the kitchen. When I put it back it takes me an hour of staring at the project to work out exactly what I was doing when I cleared it away.

If only land were as cheap here as in the states huh?
