ya, i mean its ridiculous since i'm never going to run the car at all but still... i guess its just an OCD thing.

Classes like 4wd electric and dirt oval cars were the red-headed stepchildren of R/C car racing, which is a red-headed stepchild of the entire R/C hobby.

Now we are collecting and restoring stuff 20 years later that no one cared about in the first place.




We have to put it into perspective and remind ourselves that we are really out on an island with this fractioned off hobby. If it were profitable and marketable, these companies would still be in business selling these cars and parts. We are 1/10th of one half of one percent of this hobby. Personally, I like it that way. It also should make us appreciate guys like Mike Ogle and Daryl Lane who can see why we love the history of these things so much and can offer us all history and information, which is more valuable than actual parts in most instances.
