So I've been around RC for a while, but have had everything packed up until recently. Into a little bit of everything and I may have an RC addiction. I used to see stuff I liked, get an idea for what I would do with it, buy stuff, and then it would end up getting put away for a while. Lately I've been cleaning and organizing the garage, and my 13 year old son is interested in getting some stuff up and running.
Onto the dilemma, I bought some Parma bodies way back when. They were sized to fit over an offroad buggy. I never got around to it. It appears that buggies may be coming back, so I'm exploring options.
1. Sell the bodies on ebay and get newer stuff (is anybody still alive that would want them).
2. Grab a couple cheap Tamiya buggies, mount the bodies up, and tick off a whole bunch of people with videos of me and the boy using old RC stuff the way it was meant to be used.
3. See if Team Blue Groove on ebay wants to make re-re's of the bodies, and use those for step number 2.
Any ideas? Life sucks without pics, so I'll include a few of the cleaning process.
Thanks for opinions (Used to be on hobbytalk, rcmt, and scale4x4)
Brian
Whoops, it's been a while since I was on a message board. What's everyone doing to host pics?

Re: Intro and sort of vintage meets new question
Your pictures are working , your asking all the right questions and depending on what you have it might be a shame to just hand over to a 13 year old to bash on as he may be just as happy with a faster more modern buggy that's easy to find spares for , Team Blue Groove may well be interested in your bodies so it may be worth getting in touch with them , I think I speak for every one that we'd love to see the rest of your stuff
.
