I've just gone there, and no particular news were found... can you tell a bit more about it?

my guess would be that its on the high lift chassis. I know some of the bruiser molds were broken a long time ago, hence the lack of a reissue.

Go to the forum and look under the General section. You will see the thread. Unless I missed something, looks to me that yes it is going to be released, but the specifics are still just speculation at this point. Another good site for immediate Tamiya news (when it happens) is from a former Mod there DJtheo....
http://www.tamiayblog.com . He is usually the first to have pics posted of stuff.

Try here

for an insider description of it. Bakaguyjean works for one of Japans model stores so has access to the prerelease information the shops are supposed to keep quiet about.
Just visited Theos site and seen the new SUV - and we thought the Touareg was ugly

the chassis looks like the one from the High-Lift to me
and the wheels seem ridiculously small

Yes it's a high lift chassis. I don't think it was ever purported to be anything different

A Mountaineer body on a High Lift. Defintely needs 2.2 wheels. That's a 1:9 scale body.

that thing needs some shorter leafs with less of an arch. then, it'd look good.
