My newly found rc10 toy championship edition

Post by cooltoys »

Found this rc10 recently. i was looking for a runner that i can play around. The one i previously got most of you guys told me make it into a shelfer.. :D Its been used but very lightly i believe. It even got to test drive it before i purchased it. It was fun driving it around.. Came with old batteries lol.. Haven't got the chance to clean it up yet..too many stuff to do.. Lol..

Its a championship edition if i am right?

Now you can "shelf" this one and run your other one. Yes it is a Championship Edition.

Thats a really nice example of a used one. There were a couple different versions of the Championship Edition, and that appears to be the early version with 6 gear trans. I'd say Just run and enjoy it. Although desirable its not like you have to worry much about rarity.

Looking at it again i think i should not run it.. :D Maybe just light runs around no jumps or anything...
It came with manuals, box, speed control, extra tires, wing nuts? Other extra stuff that came with the car too.
No name battery. The cover was peeled already.. I wonder why..
The tires on it are tamiyas for the front & rear rubber too.
The body on it is not in that great shape. I didn't like the way it was cut & painted..
Thanks for the answers. I should learn more on the rc10's Still get confused with all the different models on it.
I think i got it for a good deal. I hope..

Those rears are Hotshot 1.9" tires if I'm not mistaken. I always thought they would look good on an RC10.

Yup your right they are for the wild one.

So you know those rear tires are AE # 6822 or TQ 22's and are the correct rear tires for the 6011 CE. You would need the CE rims and the correct TQ71 front tires if you were restoring it. The gold nose tubes are normal.

I have to do more research on that. Need a pic. The one on the box is the right tires for it?
Front with ribs & rear spikes. I have to find some front wheels. The rear ones on the bugggy is same as the box as far as i can tell.
Any leads would be great.. :D
