What is the cheapest option for a couple bashers, also needs to be Lipo compatible with the cutoff. The takeoffs of the new Losi RTR seem to go for about $45 on the bay but I also see some no name brands in the 20's. I have one of the Losi ones and know they work fine for what they are but saving a couple bucks would not hurt in this case.

Re: Cheap Brushed ESC - Lipo Compatible
have you tried one of the lipo alarms?
they are small circuit boards with pins that plug into the balance port and monitor the cells. it makes a lout alarm noise when the cutoff is reached on any one of the cells. works with almost any lipo and only costs a few$. I put velcro on the bottom, and a velcro dot on each lipo pack.

Second Anthony's option here. I still use them with my brushless systems just for the added security with my 10 year old daughter running. I picked up a pack of 5 of them for around $10 shipped from Japan.aconsola wrote:have you tried one of the lipo alarms?
