HPI RS4 Rally

Post by Brandon G »

This is my new built RS4 Rally. When I received it it had a poorly painted Ford Focus body, so I exchanged it with this Suzuki Escudo I had in my stash. Talk about a decal nightmare! A true test of one's patience! But I love the gaudyness of that Pikes Peak Suzuki. Ugly, but full of horsepower!

The drive train bushings have been swapped completely with ball bearings. I also added a Race Prep 14t modified motor.

That is bad-ass! Good ol' Escudo... a staple of Gran Turismo 2. :D
Who makes the Escudo body? Dynamite job, btw. How long did it take you to finish?

HPI made the body. Painting it was easy, just plain ole white. Decals, heh, that was another story. Took me quite a few hours.

I've always wondered how that body worked on the track...with that HUGE rear wing.
