Hi guys, i have just joined, just getting into Rc but everyone is going on about Lipo,s and brushless, and my Rc10 hasnt got a battery, so i figured i might as well upgrade now

that battery brand, charger and radio I have had good luck with.
I have no first hand experience with that brand of brushless motor/esc, but have heard that they are a great option for the price.

Cheers for the replies guys. Am i right in thinking i would need connectors soldered onto the motor or battery?

The only soldering you would need to do is putting the connector on the battery wires. If you are comfortable with very basic soldering you'll have an easy job. I have the 60a version of that esc and a couple turnigy packs. Been very happy with them.

I bought that same charger from a retailer in Hong Kong for 15 bux + shipping. I think total was about 28- 30 bux. It took about three weeks to get to the states.It works great. I think I read somewhere that basically all the charges that look like that are the same inside just different cases and package cause the mark up in price. But for the price it is a great charger. I am very happy with it.
