can storing rc cars in the garage exposed to chemical fumes and temperature/ moisture changes damage the plastic or other parts? anyone one have some horror stories or experiences with this? i know the metal screws on the bottom will probably rust...

Hi guys - i've just recieved a very nice original RC10 off US ebay, i'm really pleased with it (especially considering what I paid) It looks virtually new.... with only enough tell-tale scratches on the u/side of the chassis to suggest one or two...

I have a really good solution to this problem that does not cause any damage to the surface. For almost any type of tape residue, apply rubber cement, wait a minute and then rub off. Also works well on the tough to remove double sided tape...

So I got a smokin deal on an older JC Concepts body. Took advantage of the 3 day weekend. Figured I'd freshen up the ol XXXCR. Haven't painted for a bit... :|

Is there any way to salvage, hinge pins, drive shafts, etc. with some surface rust?? or are they doomed to the scrap pile??

I'm on the verge of rebuilding a Losi LXT and some of the metal parts have a little bit of surface rust, and Instead of...

Coming from a very humid climate...means I often get rust on screws and various metal parts on my vintage buggies. I understand that WD40 or distilled vinegar is an easy way to remove the rust.

Is rustoleum or some protective gloss enamel good for...

I've never tried the WD40 Specialist but I did try the other two winners. The Frog Lube, and the Hornady One Shot.

I can't remember too much about the Frog Lube other than I didn't like the smell. There was (still is?) controversy surrounding it...

I've been working on my Tamiya HotShot re-re and I think I'm about halfway done. Problem is, I've kind of gotten into a bit of a funk with RC. Just don't feel like doing anything with it right now. I still like reading about what you guys are doing...
