IT'S WHAT YOU DO WITH YOUR SCORPION BEETLE THAT COUNTS

Post by Bormac »

Yeah I know, this is the second thread Ive started with my new Kyosho Scorpion beetle but I wanted to share some pics of my little bug on the beach out front of where I live.
Living on the beach front has its advantages and this would be one of them.Ive swapped the 540 motor out for a 19 turn Team Orion 'V' spec motor and with a 4200 battery this car FLIES!! Seriously Ive been dreaming of getting an SRB Scorcher onto the beach but the Scorpion is even better. Yep I love where this obsession is heading-

nice pictures Man, I really like the one that's throwing up the sand, the One in the weeds is great too, it looks like something youd find in a car mag. Sweet lil ride

Oh dang,

Very cool and nice finish!
give us some under the hood pics too: just too show the sandscorcher guys it's not all tamiya which shines under a beetle shell.

That is awesome, love what you've done with it. The Icarus front wheels really set it off well. Hope to have my 2 beetles done soon.
