Got this optima a few years ago.. It was just sitting inside the cabinet neglected.. It was part of a deal with a nice Avante.
Started to clean it a while ago. Might need quite a few parts to restore it.

Looks like a worthy project car with original Optima frame; I believe it has the shorter Optima shock towers, obviously the original red shocks too, and original Optima control arms. The U-shaped bumper brace looks like it took a big hit and may be damaged. The shock towers look straight, those often are bent on well-used runner cars. Other than that, from those pics it looks pretty good.

Yes, all the rear drive Optimas originally came with a chain. The belt was a Kyosho Option House hop-up; it's a nice one to have.

So this was even a better deal. It was a deal already when i got it with another rc.. Now its even better!
