My frog back in the 80's

Post by Mad Racer »

Found these old photos .

This is my Brat that i bought 2nd hand and convereted it to a Frog. Had a diff when I bought it. So A new Frog Shell, Bash Plate and Fox Shocks went on. Electronics straight out of the Galaxy.( Galaxy was my first r/c car. Was Ball raced , Brass idler gear, Le Mans Mod motor & a Relay esc. Had lots of good times with this.

Pic of my Optima Mid in 88 i think at Arana Hills track . I was really out of than. Gave it away for 10 yrs to come back in 98.

Great photos! It was pictures like those of your Frog which I used to spend hours looking at when I was a kid before I finally managed to get my Fox.

I really love the style of photography, the pictures look great, real sharp yet full of nostalgia and warmth. You don't get that 'feeling' with today's digital images.

Too cool Mark! 8) I recall my early cars with great fondness too. I only wish I had more pictures.

I started a rc club at School on the local playing fields and didn't understand why someone had defaced every single poster I put up round school by adding an 'er' onto them..

My advert said..
