my frog

Post by rctenracer »

This is a new biult frog with some crp hop-ups. I was going to sell the crp stuff on ebay but decided to buy the frog kit and make use of them. The rim outer halfs are aluminum and were purchased from pargu on ebay. I messed up the first body painting it so I purchased a factory painted body. I'm not real fond of the pink color I tried to paint the first body red and white but the paint lines bled threw the tape.

They are bolink shocks. The same as the crp ones both are out of production. You can use a 60mm shock if you want . Try 3racing they may have some.

PINK ALL THE WAY!! Anything other than pink on a Frog is just wrong. I absolutely cannot decide between a Frog, Hornet or Grasshopper. This makes me think Frog all the way. And yes, it will be PINK!!

I used the standard CVA shocks on mine, Associated black front springs and Losi Green front springs for the rear.

I like those CVA shocks they mount up real nice and probably work better than the ones I am using.

Nice looking Frog. I dig those aluminum side nerf bars. If it was mine, I'd ditch the wheel knock offs though. Looks awesome otherwise. 8)
