this is my re-pop lunchbox, it has been fun. i recently added the fx10 front suspension, losi shocks, braces and lights to it. i ordered those $$ aluminum body mounts to...we are having a vintage race (fun run) at my track in a few weeks and i will be ready! should be some laughs.....

looks good. The alloy body mounts hold up well, worth the price. I like the support rod on the wheelie bar, it really needs something like that. I have pushed a wheelie bar up and through the trans case from hard landings.
one more bit of bling you can add to strengthen it:

I have one mounted, but haven't really had the chance to run it yet to see how it holds up.

Re: my independant oil filled LUNCHBOX
That is awesome how the frontend is setup. Huge improvement!!

Re: my independant oil filled LUNCHBOX
aconsola.....my gear box was getting gauged from the wheelie bar and it was only a matter of time until it was ruined. I think i'm all blinged out on this one, thx tho i never seen that.
sonic, thx for posting the pic. when i try, they are to big to post.
the fx-10 suspension is a pain. I was patient and with the help of the internet figured out how to modify it to work. I enjoyed the challenge and digging through my "parts" to find hardware. cutting and drilling was neccessary....

Re: my independant oil filled LUNCHBOX
what exactly does that part do for the truck?? is it like a swaybar or does it help geometry of rear shocks?

Re: my independant oil filled LUNCHBOX
it has multiple mounting spots for the shocks, but more importantly, it ties both sides of the plastic gearbox together with an aluminum brace.
Re: my independant oil filled LUNCHBOX
ok thx, this area hasn't been a issue but i'll keep my eyes on it. if anything, yes...it does look good which may be enough reason.
