Where to buy set screws
Where to buy set screws
Just set screws in general, for the RC10 buggy, like the ones holding in the shock pins, or the ones on the linkage collars. I know it's a noob question, I just have no idea where to look.

The big box stores like Lowe's or Home Depot have them if you're in a big market with big stores. They're in the big sliding drawers.

My Lowe's and Home Depot never have anything this small. What length are the shock pin set screws? My ruler says about 1/4", but I'm not sure how accurate it is. It's 4-40 pitch, right?

Re: Where to buy set screws
they're threaded 4-40, and the length is 5/16.
if you're in need of more nuts, bolts, seals, or whatever you should put in an order at mcmaster.com. and you'll be set.

Re: Where to buy set screws
I purchased the set screws for the out drives on my MIP SP1 from Home Depot.
And a nice stainless allen screw/alum washer which attaches the spur gear to the topshaft there too.
Also found the C clips for the older bottom load associated shocks.

What size are the screws in the six-gear's idler? I don't have any wrenches that small.
