I think i've got another report from this race in Top Qualifier magazine somewhere too. I'll have a hunt for it tomorrow and post it if i find it.
Just to follow up, this article too is so great. And look some people were not running turn buckles but stock bent "Z" rods and a Collar clamp. Be fun to run just like this again, no brushless, no lipo, old esc's and old electronics! Oh and yes - 6-cells
