well, after a quick clean up, this bad boy's all done. i might change the wheels and tires around if something else comes along one day. the motor plate will get changed to an associated, too. i just need to find a decent used one.

yup, that's what i figured. i just gotta wait for a nice used one to come along.
this chassis has the holes in the back for a motor guard. my early tq doesn't. do any of yours have them?
Mine has the holes, but it's a "late" TQ. I think the short arm TQ's don't have them. IIRC the early chassis have just a few of the bottom holes countersunk. I still do not think the motor guard was supplied in a kit until the Stealth cars were intruduced.
My short arm has the motor guard holes and all of the other holes are countersunk. I thought mine was one of the earlyer ones, I ordered it before it was released but it could have been switched at some point when it was in layaway !
No, it's that one, the only TQ I own! And you are really annoying me, you know my collection better than me It's just that it's one of the many cars that stayed in boxes since the moving

ya, my early short arm tq has only one countersunk hole for the antenna mount, and no motor guard holes. this one has all of the holes countersunk down both sides, w/ the motor guard holes.
in regards to the c.e. in this post...................
does any one else on the board have a "B" stamped gold tub c.e., drilled for a stealth, with a stealth motor plate, but came with a 6 gear trans from the factory?
my other c.e. that came with a stealth is a "B" stamped tub, but the holes for the 6 gear trans aren't countersunk.
