Re: Ok so lets talk about the Losi XX cars ??
Hi everyone!
I'm looking for tips, anything I could try...
Here's my problem: On high grip surface, rear inside wheel lifts when the car turns a tight corner.
Best I found is to setup the rear camber link so that the more the outside shock compresses, the more negative the camber gets. It helped a bit, but not as much as I'd want to.
Thanks.

Sounds like too much weight transfer to the outside, have you tried playing with spring weights??

Sway bars help weight transfer as well as springs & oil wt.

I would suggest a heavier spring and oil in the front shocks. You have too much forward weight transfer... Do you have any travel limiters inside the rear shocks?Richard wrote:Hi everyone!

Are you looping out in the turns, or does the lifting tire just bother you? That inside rear tire is going to offer the least traction of any in an off power turn. If it is not looping out, I'd say don't sweat it.

for something like that.
They (Team Losi) only used the LOSA9903 long chassis for the XXT, and never offered a longer version of the XX with this chassis.
The XXL as shown in the picture from Reggie, must be a project from another race team perhaps????? We may never know
Any thoughts Reggie? Jason?
Aaron
That's odd, I have a Team Losi body NIB that specifically says XX XL. I can't recall the P/N, I think these were posted a while back in anither thread....

Post some pics Brandon, be interesting to see....Brandon G wrote: That's odd, I have a Team Losi body NIB that specifically says XX XL. I can't recall the P/N, I think these were posted a while back in anither thread....
To me that shell looks the same as the XX-CR one though, although a 'XX-XL' does ring some bells.
They made a shorter chassis for the XX which was quite useful indoors, but I never recall anyone sticking the 9903 long chassis on one - although that sounds a good option if we were racing them now...

Well I'll throw my XX into the ring. I'm really hoping to be able to race at the Vonats this year with it. This buggy is all about Rick, he built her up for me and I truly appreciate his efforts.
