Rear tires look like Kyosho W-5031 (stock tires for Kyosho Turbo Optima Mid Special). These are hard to find but I'm still searching...

After looking for some time now, I finally came up on some RC10T's:

Not too much to look at right now. One has 4 extra holes drilled in it for the servo :roll: That's gonna be the runner. The other chassis is scratched up...

I just dug out a bunch of my old cars that we used to race back in the late 80's early 90's and I want to get my Turbo Ultima running again. What I want to do is find out what 2.2 wheels and tires will work on it and if there is a readiy available...

I think you're looking for the sand viper body.

Personally I find the desert gator a better fit. The nose section of the desert gator covers the topplate entirely, sand viper doesn't.

further down the thread you'll see I'm using sand viper...

Where my first 4x4 conversion was borrowing a lot from the optima and mid, I'm trying to stay closer to the original ultima with this one.
Major reason: the belt running through the gear box was asking for a perfect sealing: which I did'nt have and...

So i got a couple more YZ10's off eBay, I was hoping the listing would end close to the starting price (Not very low), all looked good up till about 10 min left and someone started jacking the price up grrrrr.... needles to say that got me in the...

I just picked up a Ultima Pro at the local junk store, in a box with a radio shack monster truck for $20.00. All the Pro is going to need is the upper fiberglass tray and a body. Dave (DW911) has this upper tray for sale and I was wondering if any...

When I restored my Turbo Ultima a billion years ago now, I remember remembering that I had to buy the motor guard separately AND I wore out the final pinion which was replaced with the hard version. So the list that radioactivity posted is correct....
