Thanks guys, its been a fun project, shame its mostly done, but hey ho, on to my XXT G+ next!

I thought about electrics, but I am not sure, that'll just make the build all 'messy' and I think I am just happy to leave it as a roller....but never say never...

I will also keep looking Dan, if I find one I will let you know - I feel a little bit bad for taking this off you - I owe you a beer or two!!

The funny thing about this build is that most of the original car has now gone, I think the only original items are the gearbox case and internal gears/slipper plate. The rest has been a replaced with new parts 8)

As Always your car is looking great, that tower is cool. It sure was nice of Dan to give up such a rare part. Which goes to shows the character of the guys on here. I think you should go with the blue motor plate, and a blue front bulkhead. I had a couple of the front bulkheads and it sucks I let them go, I havent been able to replace them. I have a bunch of the rear ones. just cant seem to find another one of those fronts. so when are you going to build a car with all of the take off parts. I am sure those parts are much nicer than most of us have for out shelf cars.

Thanks Rick, and yes during this build I have 'met' some very kind and genuine people, yourself included. Its amazing that this place is actually like ebay - you can find most parts on here, all you have to do is ask the right people.

If you have any Trinity parts spare LMK, I need a blue front brace and an early rear transmission brace :D

I have the blue motor plate I bought from you for my XXT G+ build, I thought about trying it on here, but I like the polished finish. I am a little worried it will have too much blue, I guess I'll find out soon enough.

The 'take off' parts have been sold on as i removed them, or i have kept them just incase I fancy a change and want to swap them back. I've got too many cars now to contemplate doing another XX build, heck, I've got 3 XXT's in total, 2 yet to be built.

I hear you I have so many cars built, my shelves in the hobby room are overflowing. I am out of room to put them so I may have to put my kit boxes in the attic to use the shelf.

Yes it was believe it or not. I have 2 new shells to spray, one Jammin and one that you sent me Rick - the Xcelerator version. Both will be in my colours. Then I'll do the XXT G+ to match :D

Edit: Actually, the XXT G+ is done, except I messed up the blue, so have to start over

That will look cool, as soon as I finish the proto type car I am going to rip my Lx-t back apart and rebuild it and do it up to match my pro se and run them at the Vonats.

I never realised Trinity did these blue buttons, needless to say i had to have them - the Kinwald wing buttons are a darker blue (the picture here shows them much darker than they are), these one keep to my theme :D

I think they are essentially the same but without the wires....the main point is they are Trinity blue!

I finally got round to spraying my Jammin shell I've had for ages - it was mostly cut out when I got it, so I just had to tidy it up a little. I was a bit worried about how well the paint would go on, but it was fine and I had no issues at all.

I used the 'trinity blue' that my wife kindly mixed up for the window frames, which matches the Trinity parts nicely :-)

Just need decide what stickers to put on it :D

Great job Ben, as usual - its a fairly simple but effective design & suits your Losis 'to a tea' -Can't wait to see it mounted on the chassis with a few choice (Trinity?) decals added.

Would love to find a new Jammin shell myself as I love the shape of it. That spare car of mine came with one, which apart from a poor paint job & the fact that the 'hump' has been cut off would have been in good condition
