RC 10 Graphite Stealth . My only RC 10 LOL

Post by Mad Racer »

This is my 3rd Graphite Rc 10.

I regret selling my old graphite but it was really clapped out. So when this came up for sale I snapped it up. ( Thank you nvxwax)

It is in very good nic with a stealth and A&L steering set up. I stripped it down to clean all the white nylon bits and dyed most of the white parts in a tangerine orange. I have a new body & wing on it's way. A EZ run brushless will be installed as well.

Pics so far.

I like th piece of the aluminum nose plate bolted on up front. With the body on it probably looks like a tub car. Maybe you could pick ups lexan under tray to to complete that look...if you wanted to.. :D

Which Ezrun are you getting? I wound up getting the "lowly" Ezrun combo B1 with the 35A ESC and the 13T 380-sized motor. So far its plenty of power for the old 6-gear transmission in my RC10. I do notice it cogging a tiny bit at the very low end under very light throttle, but its if anything more power than I even need, especially since I'm just bashing around the street with it lately.

Yes Geff a 12T combo is going in. Plenty fast enough for the slippery Boondal track here.

Just a small update. The new body set arrived the other day so I went to work on it. I wanted to toss the wing wire, Buttons & tubes for a modern wing mount set up. The wing mounts have been bolted up to the rear tower. The Body shell was cut to suit. So now the wing is always on when the body is taken on & off.

Color scheme has been sorted out & new custom AE decals will be ordered.

More to come soon.

Final update guys.

It's pretty much finished. I changed my mind on the ESC combo & decided to run my Speed Pasion 13.5 motor with a sensored esc. Waiting on a new sensor cable to arrive & new front wheels. The body shell is different to the more common ones but I like it..

Can't wait till next meet to give it a good run.

I really enjoyed working on this graphite.
