The green and red ones are both Tamiya... Baja Champ. The other one is Desert Gator from Tamiya. BTW the build is really unique, and innovative. It will be interesting to see how it runs, with the mix of old school trailing arms, and newer wide front a-arms up front. Might be just the ticket though.

I think you're mistaking: I have bought a lot over the years, but never big lots from one person.
The desert gator sells for 9.90 euro at conrad. ( There's no picture but the partnr is right)
The baja champ is from 98 (how time flies) and a bit harder to find but prices tend to be low.
How hard is it to find RC10DS front end parts? The AE database still lists front bulkheads (front suspension mounts) but does not list the front arms. Other items are interchangeable with the original RC10 and are still available (30 degree caster...

it's all different, the front bulkhead blocks, shock tower, shocks, a arms and there are little shock mounting parts on the a arms, and the spindles are a little different but I think a standard spindle assembly would work. I have a NDS that is next...
A little side project.
I’ve had this in a drawer for a while and decided to get it cleaned.
It’s quite impressive what a thorough clean can result in.
Boiling water.
Simple green.
Toothbrush and pipe cleaners.

The correct RPM springs.
If you need a pair, just send an email to RPM. They still have a stash.
Hello members,
I am new here, and this is my first post! Been lurking here for some time but only registered yesterday. What an awsome forum this is :D . I am a big fan of the 80's RC buggies and so when I got back into RC after a gap of 10 years,...

Glad it's an improvement!
Would Associated or Losi springs fit those shocks? If so you might be able to use truck frotn springs on the rear to soften it up a bit.
Normal buggy front springs might reduce the ride height a little to prevent binding,...
Won this on the bay with a decent looking A stamp chassis with some andy's rear arms.Got it all for 30 bucks. The front end looks cool.I haven't seen anything close to looking like except maybe a ds.Can anybody help with an i.d.I'm counting on Scr8p...

personally, i would just get a standard buggy tower and call yourself done, instead of looking for that mcallister lower shock mount. mainly because your missing the mcallister center shock mount, too. but i'll look through my stuff to see if i have...
I was searching through the forum to see if it was possible to retrofit a B2/B3 front end on an original RC10 but came up short. I found the buggy build that has the original front end on a T2 chassis but I haven't found the reverse. Someone must...

it can be done if you use all B2/B3 parts except for the nose plate, and make your own noseplate to match up with the gold pan mounting pattern. you will have to get creative with the upper brace mounting to the chassis.
I took my ultra molded 10T down to omaha last weekend for its first run in 10 years. 17.5 brushless no boost and shorty pack. It handled pretty good but it would not keep the front end down off of jumps. Where the buggy and short course I could just...

I might have to play with esc settings. Current suspension is 30 front #2 green, rear 30 #1 started with green, changed to gray. One of the guys suggested add front weight or stiffen up the rear.
