Tamiya TG10, any collectors?

Post by MOmo »

So I got this TG10 Ages ago and its just been sitting. I had plans early on of making it a general runner and basher, but it kept getting put further and further back in the pile.

I've been trying to clear out my collection somewhat and I still don't know what to do. I want it to find a good home, and I know that there are other more sought after Tamiya cars, but what value does this one hold? Anyone here have one? I tried the pull start and its def. stuck, but I don't think its ruined. I think a good cleaning would make this run again. I just don't have the desire to make it run again.

I'll try and get pics posted. its mostly complete. I think it lacks the shocks and possibly the drive pins for the wheels.

Thoughts? Insight? advice?

I'm not on the Tamiya Club forum, so if anyone is and there are folks looking for one, Please let me know.

Not a collecter but the tg10 had two versions the MK1 and MK2 . The MK1 is the best of the two.

I was only interested in the O.S engine (only bidder at $40) but the car was in such nice shape I decided to keep it. I had for a few years now, been upgrading it slowly.
