Update... All-new hydraulics have solved the clutch issues once and for all. New clutch grabs hard, but nice and smooth. It's back to running like it should.
I also made a modification I've been meaning to make for a couple years now, and installed a roll bar:
That's a Hard Dog Sport bar, an actual ROLL bar and not those silly chrome hoops that the kiddies buy on ebay. This one has some strength to it. I hope I never have to find out how much strength it has, but it's nice to know it's there. It also does a good job of stiffening up the car a bit, takes away some shimmies and rattles over bumpy roads.

Re: The never-ending Miata project
Bah, no pictures of heavy auto parts nearly crushing you? How disappointing.
So I guess the difference between this roll bar and the flashy ones is that it isn't a thin-walled tube that can be dented by standing on it...

That, and it mounts to the car's structure at four points, instead of just through 2 drilled holes. It ties into the seat belt anchors.EvolutionRevolution wrote:Bah, no pictures of heavy auto parts nearly crushing you? How disappointing.
