If you do that, might as well fix the tire tread direction on one side of the chassis, two are mounted backwards...hopefully the tires aren't glued to the wheels!

here are few pics of my collection of them. I have a bunch of parts to restore all of these to almost new. I plan to make an Ultima, Optima and a Salute. I loved these suckers ever since the first time I saw one in the case of a local hobby shop.
Here is my runner. I think they run quite well. They are plenty fast enough with their stock motor and a set of ball bearings. The radio is similar to a Tamiya Tamtech and they have their limitations. Building one up with some good micro gear would be preferable.
here is a new built chassis and my Mercedes chassis. I have a NIB body set so one of these will be a road car.
Here is a set of the rare aluminum option wheels.

Those are sweet. I really like the Rothmans paintjob. I remember wanting these as a kid and just ran across an ad and review in an old RCCA I was flipping through yesterday.
