Cox Kyosho Scorpion
Brand spankin' new. Shocks and trany are bone dry. I plan to paint the body when the humidity drops here in not so sunny Florida. This one will sit happily next to it's box, high above the reach of little hands.

I love the vintage Kyosho buggies, my first RC car was an Ultima with red shocks!!! I loved it... but this one is really nice, please post some pics when you'll have the body painted

Yes Jimmy from Oople does have a scan of the decal, I was also thinking about repoduce a series of JRX2 decal sheet, but the main problem is that it is printed with a clear sheet and the only way to do it well would be to peel the sheet, place it on a slide and then scan it in order for the decals not to be mixed with a white first layer... How would you do to repro a decal from scan

I hoped to email the jpeg file to a local print shop and pay them to sort out the details (provided the cost is not outrageous). I would probably spend as much to screw up decals and not be happy with the end result. Not to mention my $40 hp printer probably would not reproduce high-quality decals. Sometimes you have to know when to contract out.Asso_man! wrote:Yes Jimmy from Oople does have a scan of the decal, I was also thinking about repoduce a series of JRX2 decal sheet, but the main problem is that it is printed with a clear sheet and the only way to do it well would be to peel the sheet, place it on a slide and then scan it in order for the decals not to be mixed with a white first layer... How about you contact Jimmy to see how he suggests reproducing decals... I'll check with a print shop.

like I said, the main problem with decals surrounded by a white stripe is that you'll have to guess where you'll have to cut them since the bottom layer of a reprint is white... but maybe you don't have this kind of problem with the Kyosho decals which I have never seen...
