Did it work? It looks like B4 shafts will be too long. :(

A bit of progress tonight, got the stealth cleaned out, back together and back in the car.

Progress will now be very slow until I get some more parts :(

I think you need to mix B4 axle stubs with B2/B3 shafts to get the width right. I've not done this to a buggy, but the same thing can be done on the old trucks with no problems. just tossing it out there...or just tossing. :|

Temple, do you know what length the bones are on B2/3 driveshafts? Are they the same as CVD's for the tub? I have a pair of shiney tub ones.

the bone is the same length for the rc10, and the b2/b3. they just have different size axles.

Thanks, I'm really looking forward to running this.

An RC10 CVD is 59.8mm
A B4 CVD is 68.9mm

Sorry, I can only work in mm.

Just waiting on some bits from Scr8p (thanks again btw) and I can get this project moving forward again :D

Nice, but won't the chassis flex too much when cut down?

I was going to fit a Viper shell, looks like I'll have to try and mount it as low as possible, but I have a std rear tower, so that might spoil it. What do you guys think?

Also, does anyone know where the tall front tower comes from? I need one of those I think.

Time to bring this one back.

Thanks to Scr8p (thanks again) I have all the parts I need to finish this (I think).

But I've hit a snag tonight. I've fitted Losi white ball cups and now the steering and camber links hit each other when the steering is in lock.

On full lock the steering link is sat under the camber link, so they foul when suspension compresses.

Does anyone have any ideas hoe to solve it? I'm thinking of milling away some of the material from the triangular front blocks and moving the shock tower forward.

I guess the carbon fibre tower isn't helping :(

Thanks,

Graham

I got exactly the same with my runner an the J-concept ballcups...but is it really a problem? It's only when suspension is fully compressed.

I see Temple has some new tech looking ball joints on his car here:

Anyone know what they are?
