This body is the goth version of Matt Francios. That heavy shadowing around the windows is not pretty. At least I elongated the windshield down and angled in the side windows like they are supposed to be.

The raider is parked for the winter. There's too much snow right now to run it. Still looks really good though.

Good to hear the Raider is still in great shape.

Rod, I've used the 50/50 paint to Future floor finish on the Matt F. body and it worked great. I will keep mixing the pain at that ratio. I might lower the psi for better control on the brush. It seems like it's coming out faster than I want.

I have a lot of playing around with different psi and fine tuning the light paint to air ratio without splattering the paint before I can paint the Masami B3 body. The detail in the highlighting of the flames with the red and white wont be easy for me without much more practice, especially with the difficulty I had with shading already. I know what has to be done, I just got to figure out how to control the paint. I have some lexan from some Home Depot blinds packaging I can practice on first. I hope the B3 turns out as good as the others.

Glass makes for cheap practice, thin it and clean the glass after you done!

I just wish I had some glass and some windex. I do have a couple of lexan, or clear plastic or some sort, packaging that I got with some blinds for our new house. I'll use those for now, these bodies are just for runners. Not like Rod needs perfect bodies for runners.

Masami's B3 bosy complete

It's not perfect, but I'm happy with it and it's great for a runner. There are some things I wished I did different, but I'm not going to point out all my mistakes

On to the next body on the assembly line, the box art worlds car. Got her all drawn up, it may look messy but I think it will turn out better than it initially looks.

Very nice, I can't wait to get that body stickered up and mounted! Did you use the new needle?

I have to find some Yokomo decals for that!

Thanks Rod! Yup, I used the new needle. I actually didn't notice a difference though. The old needle only has a really small bend on the tip, but I wasn't sure how much the spray was being effected.

I'm having issues with how the black outline is painted on the Worlds car.

Rod mentioned that it's possible that the outline is just that, laying down black around the white. If this is the case than only the sections between the blue and white would have to be done. Once those sections are dry then the blue areas would have to be masked off to lay down the rest of the black....then paint blue and then white.

Rod's probably right, but it wont be easy for me, are there any other suggestions out there?
