who knows about the Igarashi versions?

Here's a photo of the tape that Reedy used on the early Igarashi motors.

All of the Igarashi's had blue endbells for a long time. Around 1982 Igarashi probably started allowing orders other than blue. Associated had a stock motor that came with a white endbell, MRP had black etc.

As far as I know all of the Reedy "Modified" Igarashi's were blue endbells. Reedy switched to Yokomo cans in 1983.

I have seen now pictures at 1980 magazines from Leisure, MRP and Trinity motors all of them using black endbell Igarashis.
So it seems different colours endbell was even earlier.

The Parma Ferrari is also balck endbell.
Delta's Igarishi is also blue endball but the vent hole is not drilled on the can. It is a semicircle dremelled at the end of the endbeel. One special features that Delta added is , instead on merely copper spring brushes, Delat added a shunt directly from the red/black wires to the top of the brushes. I have asked about the soldering technology , i.e soldering wire on the carbon brushes here but can't get very deep details.
