Difference between Klein vs RPM vs AE
I have seen some opinions within the posts here regarding the use of Klein vs RPM parts particularly with the A-Arms front and rear. What is the difference? Is it in the quality of the material? Please elaborate a little more.
If I choose to race my vintage RC10 and something breaks, then I know that my options of finding new parts are slim. Hence my question above regarding quality.

Re: Difference between Klein vs RPM vs AE
it depends on what rpm arms your talking about. if it's the team arms, they're shorter than the klein/dynotech arms. they're the same as the standard rc10 buggy arms. if you're talking about rpm worlds arms compared to the klein/dynotech arms, they're demensionally the same.
both arms are nylon, rpm's are injected, dynotech's are machined.

Re: Difference between Klein vs RPM vs AE
Oh I see, I guess I did not fully understand.
I read in a thread somewhere, where "Charlie don't surf" posted an opinion about RPM or Klein and I forgot which it was. And I was curious as to why.
I am just getting back into an RC10 Worlds car and reliving some good memories from years ago. The buggy is coming with new Klein arms and I was just trying to understand the characteristics of what I am getting with my new vintage buggy.
It also has a lot of new RPM parts on it as well. Once I have it in hand, I am sure that it will raise some more questions on my part. Pictures will follow soon to show you guys.
Thanks!

Re: Difference between Klein vs RPM vs AE
Original Klein arms were delrin and made for Dirt Oval use with engineered failure points into them and while they are the same identical dimensions as the RPM "worlds 91'" arms they are fairly unsuitable for off-road action.mdutcher wrote:Oh I see, I guess I did not fully understand.

Now- If they are "Dynotech" Klein arms they are 6/6 Nylon and durable as hell...no worries there!
RPM parts are very, very durable as well.

Re: Difference between Klein vs RPM vs AE
Thank you for the clarification!
How does one tell if the Klein arms are Dynotech? Is that possible?
