Well the package deal came through. I had to talk my wifey, buddy and buddy selling the items into all linking up in some way. I haven't been given any pictures by the wife yet....probably because she knows I'll want to start ordering parts and have stuff shipped here. The whole deal started when a kid traded a guy a graphite car minus trans for a set of tires. The transaction went down at the track in front of me. I instantly pulled out my aluminum 2.25 trans and said I need the car cause this trans needs to go in it. So fast forward to seeing his collection in the B/S/T and thankfully he was patient with me as I was deploying. A couple of people think I paid too much but I think he and I are both happy with the transaction. So screw them.

And it all started with this Graphite!

None for sale. I have to get on the history thread and see what exactly I have cause I don't recognize one of the chassis'. I only had one graphite in my past.

Edit: Ok, so I knew about the "early" graphite chassis but didn't know about the "late" graphite chassis. So guess I sort of lucked out? Now to find out what the heck that other graphite chassis is.

Ok, thanks to scr8p, he identified it as a composite craft team car chassis that's missing the top deck. Were these pretty popular chassis'? If so I guess I'll start looking into finding the missing upper deck and parts. Also, is the "Late Graphite" chassis rare? Don't plan on selling but would like to know what I'm getting into before I get my hands on it. Like replacing chassis or attempting to restore the actual graphite.

The late cars were all "we" got from fall of 93 until the B2 release. They were pretty rare (except in our area) since very few people ran them in off road. Walts 93' Winter Classic fielded (20) new built cars, Buffa, Heid, Neave (2), Edwards etc....all were this chassis. For our one big race alone.
Plus all the rest sold from there until.the B2

Well my goal is build up the "early" graphite very much like your graphite car you posted about the dirtoval setup. I think maybe since I have that CC chassis that is already "modified", might got a custom route with. Is the chassis good as is or do I need the upperdeck?

Now just have to figure out which one to put the RPM and Alum trans in.
