SRT!
Hey guys been awhile since I been on the forum. I bought the all white SRT off Ebay last week. http://www.ebay.com/itm/TRAXXAS-SRT-CHASSIS-BRAND-NEW-SHOW-TRUCK-VERY-RARE-MINT-CONDITION-/271160361384?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWNX%3AIT&nma=true&si=f81IMY2tnAvYq%252BmPUIHqh9CUijk%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
And I was missing a few white parts. I took the white battery bar and stub axles off my TCP(they were in mint condition). I replace the transmission and motor guard with the brand new blue eagle kit(1950 was the part number) bc that is what it used in the SRT manual. I found someone willing to sell a near mint white gear cover but wants $20 plus shipping (I felt that was overpriced but idk) and offered a lower price...no response haha. It has white rear a-arm but they are part number 1955?? and isn't what is used in the manual (the manual uses white 2555 which has the X-brace running along the A-arm). Caster blocks and steering spindle is black.
So basically I need the following parts in white
#2632 or 2634 castert blocks
#2536 steering spindle
#2555 or 1955(this part might have been updated with the X-brace that's runs across the A-arm).
#1987 gear cover (if the other guy doesn't drop the price a bit).

Hey again Emaxx. That is one nice example of an SRT. I was watching that one but was way outta my price range. Good to see a traxxas guy got it though and not a chop shop. Will keep an eye out for the parts you are after and drop some links in a pm if I see anything...

Thanks again man. Yes I been wanting to build a all white SRT for awhile b/c it's what is used in the manual. This thing popped and I had to have. The only thing I do not want it the shocks. They are the ones I think they used in the blue Eagle or Ls2 b/c they aren't big bores.

Re: SRT!
They look like the teflon coated bigbores with blue caps but I might be wrong. Just look like the first versions that were out for color...

Re: SRT!
I believe I still have a new white gear cover. I'll take a look ASAP. As for the arms, 1955 were for the Blue Eagle LS and LS-II. The SRT used 2555 and I don't recall them ever being offered in white. The 1955 arms should be the correct geometry you need though.

Yup, those are the Pro-Series shocks that were intended for the TRX-1, Blue Eagle Ls, and LS-II. The LS-II and TRX-1 came standard with them and the hard-anodized bodies were an upgrade for the LS. Nice shocks, but I would go with big bores if given the choice.

Re: SRT!
Hey guys. Busy week. Anyways I was at the hobbyshop and found 1955r . What's confusing is they are the same as the 2555 they were selling. Maybe traxxas has some rare updated 1955r in white. Also no luck with the steering spindle in white. Also Harry any luck with the white gear cover? I do not plan on run in its strictly a shelf queen.
