I have a few questions for the Guru’s
1. Has anyone put together a hardware list required for each buggy that was released?
2. What are the required hinge pin lengths required for each buggy that was released?
3. Is there an available source for hinge pins?
4. Does anyone know the required turnbuckle lengths minus ball the ball cups for each buggy that was released?
I realize these are fairly general questions. I just thought it may help other newbies as well as myself. I am currently trying to put together a few runners and shelfers that I have been collecting parts for over the past few years.
I found out last night that the hinge pin length for the rear arms varied from version to version. The rear arms that have the X bracing use a shorter inner hinge pin than the arms without the X bracing. Has anyone else noticed this?
Sorry in advance if these questions have already been answered.
Thanks,
BJ

Re: A few questions for the Guru's
I think Scr8p posted a scan at one time that was the rc10 catalog from associated. I can't find the thread but I have it printed out. it shows you all of the parts used for all the cars and the parts numbers in a spreadsheet.
actually, couple minutes of digging, and here it is:
http://www.teamassociated.com/pdf/cars_and_trucks/RC10/CE/cat_rc10.pdf
right from associated, that should give you anything you probably need. bear in mind some things did change over time, such as the green to blue aluminum screws, etc so the part number stayed the same, but the parts are different.
the hinge pins are going to be a hit or miss. some places carry some of them, otherwise, it's ebay, or here, or make your own. can't help on the lengths, but the document above does give you turnbuckle lengths.

Re: A few questions for the Guru's
And just a heads up. The RCScrews rc10 screw set and the titanium set you'll find online are not correct for the rc10 cars. I bought them both and can guarantee neither have all the right screws needed.
Lunsford has pretty much every screw but expect to put out some money for it.
you find blue anodized set on ebay but i have no clue as to its accuracy.
