Need help with wild willy

Wondering if anybody knows what goes into the ends of the metal tube that holds the wheely springs. Plastic plugs? Bronze bush?? Anybody got a number for the bag or sprue it comes from? Thanks!

Probably more appropriate in the Clodtalk, but oh well.

Will Midnight Pumpkin wheels fit on the Wild Willy 2? Tires the same size as well?

If that's the size of the drive cup, you can probably use axles from the re-release frogs and drill a hole. Another option (but rare) would be to find the clamping rear (hub thing) for a blackfoot. Thorp makes a set that's usually anodized in red....

Been waiting for along time to get my hands on one of these. Today was my day. It spent most it's life as the shelf queen of a hobby shop owner. It was displayed up off it's tires, so no flat spots, but age got the best of it anyway and they have...

I found this wild willy out at the flea market. Typical seller with a bunch of boxes set out for you to dig through. I spotted this willy sticking out of a box. I asked seller how much and when he said $10, I didn't even try to barter the price down.
