lost topic

Post by marlo »

Hey guys I was wondering if I could get a little help here. Within the last week or so, a member posted pics of a worlds car. I remember the front tires being proline logo .975. The car looked very minty, and would like to see it again, unfortunately, I did not book mark it, forgot the topic, everything. I have spent the last 2 nights looking, and had given up. If anyone can remember the post please let me know. Thanks

Off topic, on lost topic :? Many years ago, and I don't remember what RC mag (about 1989-90). I read this article on how to transform a plastic model car (maybe the Munsters car) into an RC car. It was pretty cool, all front steering, had to be fabricated with polished brass, the receiver was in the back, housed in the trunk, it was like a 1930's :?: type hot rod car. I always did want to build it, and now am ready, should make for a great winter project, since my knowledge in plastic models is a little better then RC, and I love both, the project would be perfect since I'll be uniting both. I would ask if anyone can remember that article, or what mag it cam in. Thanks!

Thanks for looking, but no, that's not the one  I never got around to digging deeper last weekend, but the car I saw had the original front tire's on her. I'll find it

That's the very one :D I have not seen that in years, great job Jeff  I'll shoot you a PM....BTW if anyone is interested, I'll be doing a build on this, and posting my progress, assuming that kit can still be found. When I worked at the Hubby Hut all those years ago, we had one kit left, at the time it was over $100, more than I could afford then, and gas was just .35 cents a litter ........What year is the mag, 1989-91, it would have to be

I don't want a large farva. I want a gd litre o' cola!

Yeah we don't use liters here for anything but Hondas lol. Every time I hear liter I flash back to my over 2000 viewings of Supertroopers. Damn I love that movie.
