Two guys posted on RCtech that they ordered theirs from Amain on 6/3 and 6/9 and still have not received theirs yet.

Another guy posted that he talked to Amain on 10/18 and they say they hadn't got their shipment yet but they ordered 360 kits and only had 242 preorders.

I ordered one on Amain 6/4 and have not heard a word/nor received.

I heard that there was a limited run of 500 of these total??? I read it somewhere. I think in one of the magazine articles or something like that.

2000-2500 units were made, US got maybe 1500 of those.

Tower aside from being seller is also a distributor to other major sellers.

They probably sold all their stock and other companies will be adding theirs to inventory in the near future. You probably wont get as good of a deal as others did who lucked out to get one from tower but there are several other websites that still have them available.

I was at my local shop last night and was told they were getting their shipment next week. So it is very possible that A-Main has not received their shipment yet.

EDIT: My shop got 10 of them today. 1 is spoken for.

I tried to get one and it would add to my cart and then when I tried to place an order it would say not in stock. I tried a couple of times and I had a couple other items in my cart and it processed the order for the other items and THEN popped up saying it was not in stock. Had to cancel the order since the other two items were just to get over $250... Now it says discontinued again...

Not upset I couldn't get a second one but I just hope the few they had went to people that are going to keep them and not someone looking to flip it on eBay.

They are starting to be listed for $359 on ebay now. The cheapest is $299. I only see nine available on ebay right now, Out of the nine only one is an active auction with 5 bids sitting at $200. I was hoping to pick up a third later but I'm not so sure now.

I couldn't help myself. I genuinely haven't bought them as some sort of investment, just simply love the building of the RC10.

I ordered 2 from a couple hobby shops (4 total) only because I wasn't totally sure they would both come through for me, And I ordered 1 from Tower back when it first got announced. They are all for sure going to hang out with me for a while.
