They re-released, so I'm back!

Post by Hellfish »

Looking forward to being a member of the forum. About this time every year I renew my love for the hobby. Much to my surprise when I started snooping around I saw a "Classic" was reissued. Can't tell you how excited I am. I just ordered one and I'm itching for it to get here. Like most probably, this was my dream car as a kid. I've had a couple gold pans off eBay over the years, but never sat down and unboxed a new one. I'm sure it will instantly take me back to the 80's!

Thanks in advance for the wealth of knowledge and new friends I'm sure I'll gain in the forum.

Sincerely,
The happiest 41 year old 13 year old

Where did you order from. Hope you ordered from a place who actually has one in stock.

Ordered from a private seller on eBay. Late to the dance and probably paid a little bit of a premium. I'm ok with that though...only been waiting 30 years :)

Welcome back... RC is an itchy bug that never goes away. It's awesome to see the classic bringing "senior" folks back to the hobby :) :) :)

You've got that right. I'm so excited to start this build. Thinking one of the brushless set ups raided from an RTR kit I've been reading about. Never dealt with brushless...should be fun. Bought my son a Re-Re Grasshopper, so this should be a fun winter!
