Extra re-re
I bought a re-re thru Tower. I convinced myself I wouldn't get one as it was on "backorder", therefore bought one from a hobby shop, and a few days later the Tower re-re showed up! I built one, but what to do with the 'extra" one. An active member on this forum corrupted me into this addictive, obsessive hobby and am thinking I should sell or simply give it to him for his influence on projects we are doing (some are secretive, but hope to post pics soon). Any suggestions?
I'd take a knife for some really good nachos.

Re: Extra re-re
I was in the same spot, ended up building one (then rebuilding it lol) and keeping the other sealed. I'm a big fan of sealed kits, and it will get built one day but I hope to be old and retired when that happens.
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

Re: Extra re-re
I cannot leave anything in a box for long. I bought 2 kits and they were both built hours after I got home (2 different days, LOL). I like seeing beautiful collections, NIB and fresh built displays. But I personally cannot wait to hit the track and get them worn in.

Re: Extra re-re
I bought two of the rere's also. One will definitely get built. The other just may sit in the box. I've got a few other vehicles new in the box and actually enjoy poping the tops off to look at the contents.

Re: Extra re-re
I'm with you gomachv, I'm building one now. The other one I have is sealed up in the box it shipped in and then I placed it high on a shelf in my shop. My plan is to save it for 10 to 20 years from now and build it then...we'll see!

Re: Extra re-re
1 Built, 1 Sealed in a Sealed Outer Box.
Then I have 3rd sealed box, in the back of my car. Dunno why I keep leaving it there. Maybe in case I get stranded somewhere and need to build something.

I miss brushed motors in that hazy, everything seemed better when I was a kid, kind of way.
